| Dr. M.Stephen Enders Position: Executive Chairman and Director Dr. Enders has over thirty-two years of diversified executive and leadership experience in mineral exploration, project startup and management in mine development and operations. He has previously held the positions of Senior Vice President of Worldwide Exploration for Newmont Mining Corporation and the President of Phelps Dodge Exploration Corporation. He is a graduate in geological engineering from the Colorado School of Mines (B.Sc.) and the University of Arizona (M.Sc.), where he has also earned a Ph.D. in geosciences. Dr. Enders has led teams in a number of new discoveries, as well in the expansion of mineral resources and reserves for many properties and mines around the world. He is well published, a frequent speaker on industry topics, and a leader in several professional organizations, including the Society of Economic Geologists and the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration. He is also the recipient of several academic and industry awards, including the 2009 Distinguished Achievement Medal from the Colorado School of Mines. | |
| David M. Cole Position: President, CEO and Director Mr. Cole has over twenty five years of industry experience, coming to Eurasian Minerals from Newmont Mining Corporation. At Newmont, he held a number of management and senior geologic positions, gaining extensive global experience as a project, mine, and generative exploration geologist in Nevada, Southeast Asia, South America, Europe, and Central Asia. Mr. Cole's success as part of Newmont's exploration team includes contributions at the world class Carlin Trend, Yanacocha, and Minihasa mines. Subsequently, he established and managed Newmont's exploration programs in Turkey while also identifying early stage acquisition targets in Eastern Europe. Mr. Cole specializes in developing new exploration ideas and opportunities, based upon solid technical expertise coupled with a keen business sense. Mr. Cole is also a successful private investor with an avid interest in the markets. He studied under Dr. Tommy Thompson at Colorado State University, earning an M.S. in Geology. | |
| Michael Winn Position: Director Mr. Winn is currently President of Terrasearch Inc., a consulting company that provides analyses for mining and energy companies. Prior to forming his own company in 1997, Mr. Winn spent four years as an analyst for a Southern California based brokerage firm where he was responsible for the evaluation of emerging oil and gas and mining companies. Mr. Winn has worked in the oil and gas industry since 1983 and the mining industry since 1992, and is also a director of several companies that are involved in mineral exploration in Canada, Latin America, Europe and Africa. Mr. Winn has completed graduate course work in accounting and finance and received a B.S. in geology from the University of Southern California. | |
| Brian Bayley Position: Director Mr. Bayley is President and Chief Executive Officer of Quest Capital Corp. (TSE QC.A and QC.B), a merchant bank that provides financial services to small and mid-cap companies operating in industries such as mining, oil and gas, real estate, and manufacturing. Since 1996 he has also been the President and Director of Quest Management Corp, a wholly owned subsidiary of Quest Capital. From 1986 to 1997, Mr. Bayley held executive positions including Vice President, President and CEO, and Director for Quest Oil and Gas Inc. Prior to his positions with Quest, Mr. Bayley worked with the Vancouver Stock Exchange, now the TSX Venture Exchange, and a private management company. Mr. Bayley holds an MBA from Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario. | |
| George Lim, CA Position: Director George Lim is a Chartered Accountant with over 35 years of extensive experience in accounting, financial, taxation and audit of companies in the mining and other industry. He is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Dundarave Resources Inc. (DDX:TSX-V) and has previoiusly held the position of Chief Financial Officer of Potash One Inc. (KCL:TSX) and Energy Metals Corporation (EMU: NYSE-ARCA and EMC:TSX). Mr. Lim has been involved in numerous financings, mergers and acquisitions of public companies listed on TSX and NYSE. | |
| Brian K. Levet Position: Director Mr. Levet draws on over thirty-five years of diversified executive and management experience in mineral exploration, project startup, and mine development and operations. His distinguished career has been built upon a track record of team-oriented discovery success, with a number of these discoveries currently in production. The majority of Brian's career was with Newmont Mining Corporation, most recently as the Group Executive for Worldwide Exploration, and after 27 years of service he announced his retirement in early 2011. Mr. Levet began his career with Rio Tinto Rhodesia and Zimbabwe Iron and Steel Corporation after earning a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of London (Derby College of Technology). Brian is recognized within the mining industry for exploration expertise and team leadership that resulted in a number of major discoveries, including the Batu Hijau and Elang copper-gold deposits in Indonesia, the North Lanut gold deposit in North Sualwesi, Indonesia, the McPhillamys gold deposit in New South Wales, Australia, as well as playing a significant role in the identification of Yanacocha as a world-class gold mining camp. |
